This site has much information pertaining to the meet (race day instructions, parking information, records, waivers, etc )
Please inform parents of the website.
You do not have to declare a specific race for each entry (i.e., either a Grade Race or a Team Championship Race).
On meet day, send the athletes to an appropriate Grade Race (unlimited runners) or
the Correct Division Team Champion Race (a minimum of 5 and up to 7 runners only).
Regarding Divisions: This applies only to schools which are planning or considering participation in the TEAM CHAMPIONSHIP RACES.
Please let me know now if you are planning to enter the Team Championship Races or are thinking you might enter but are not sure.
Why? We want to make sure you know the Division of your school. www.lwrun.org has a list of Division assignments but it is not all inclusive. We will update the list as new schools notify us.
On race day send any 5, 6, or 7 runners to the appropriate Championship Race starting line (if you wish) and all others to the appropriate grade race!!!
ENTRY PROCEDURE:
2024 entry will again utilize SIMPLYREGISTER.net for online entry.
Entry will open online on October 1, 2024
Online entry deadline is Sunday, October 27, 2024 at 11:59 p.m.

The late entry fee is $15 per entry.
Do not attempt to use an old password!
You will receive a new password for this year’s meet after you check out.
You will be able to manage your specific roster thereafter using that password.
One may enter one runner or an entire team at any log-in session.
One may also return to enter additional runners.

Begin the process by entering the first athlete on your roster.

We strongly recommend entering only those who are likely to run, and to do all entry at one time as this will save on the cost and keep team members together.
For each entrant, you will need to include first name, last name, gender, then
pick the grade from a dropdown menu and pick the “enter school name and town” from a dropdown menu.
The schools are listed alphabetically by school name. Directions are provided below if your school is not on the dropdown menu.

Fill out the first screen (first name, last name, and sex), and where it asks for team name, select from the dropdown the first choice
“NOT LISTED - OTHER”.
Click NEXT
Click the box 1.87 mile.
Click NEXT
You will then see more choices to select.
* Select the grade (required).
* Where it states,
“Enter school name and town - if the team is not listed in the drop-down menu on step 1”
Type in school name and city of school.
Example: Harrison Swampscott
ALSO – Please send an email to office@usatfne.org requesting the school and town be added to the list of schools
* Fill in the email address and name of the person submitting the entries.
The Contact is only needed with the first athlete from the school

FEES:
- The race entry fee per individual is $10.00 (The first increase since 2013).
- There is a $1.25 transaction fee assessed by SimplyRegister.
That fee is for all entries done at one time in one transaction, which is why we recommend doing all entries at one time.
If there is a late add, that single late entry incurs a $1.25 transaction fee
- There is
also a 6% service fee on
credit card payments on the total
entry fee – that is 60 cents per

Note: Such fees are standard
when entering events, and are much lower than most fees charged by
registration companies.
Examples:
If you enter one runner –
Race entry fee $10.00, transaction fee $1.25, service fee $0.60 = $11.85 total
If you enter 40 runners –
Race entry fee 40 x $10 ($400), transaction fee $1.25, service fee $0.60 x 40 ($24.00) = $425.25
REMINDER PER CHECKOUT
You will receive confirmation of entries and a password.

We understand that there are some schools which have not yet formally placed this meet on their schedule, or cannot put it on their schedule. We do appreciate that you inform the parents of the opportunity to enter their youngster(s) themselves. The cost of entering the meet in this case will be less if one parent is willing to enter all participants at one time. Please direct the parents to www.lwrun.org for ENTRY PROCEDURE.

Off-line – bringing a check to the meet, mailing a check prior to the meet, or mailing a check after a purchase order/invoice is processed
Note: off-line (on-site / mail in / invoiced) payment is ONLY FOR PAYMENT FROM TOWN PROGRAMS OR SCHOOL SYSTEMS.
Schools must notify USATF New England of intent to use a purchase order for invoicing, There must be an actual purchase order submitted to USATF-NE by Friday, November 1 (before meet day). Saying “we have a PO” is not acceptable and will require a check on race day Send the PO by email to office@usatfne.org
Off-line payment is only for schools.
This is not for parents doing entry for a team, nor for individual entrants

Schools or full teams may also use a Purchase Order or bring a check with a pre-notification request sent to office@usatfne.org
There must be an actual purchase order prior to the meet if they wish to make payment after the meet through the school, or wish to be invoiced. Simply saying “we have a PO” is not acceptable and will require a check on race day
In each case, the per-individual entry fee and service fee is charged and due.
$10 x number of entrants + a single $1.25 transaction fee. (no credit card fee is charged)
The amount is based on the number of runners entered online and NOT on the number of runners that ran on race day. It is an entry fee, not a participation fee

Except for the PO / full team option, the entry fee must be paid at the time of online entry.
One can submit entries in multiple sessions, but each session will incur charges for that group of runners being entered (That is, charges do not accumulate through the entry period).
There are no refunds.
UPDATES One may go into the system and replace a non-competing runner with a new name by editing the initial entrant's information and will not be charged for edits.
Waivers: Coaches / parents must also go to www.lwrun.org to download the waiver form, and have the form for each entrant signed their parent or legal guardian.
A coach may not sign the waiver form. Submit all waivers, alphabetized in one batch, on race day in exchange for the team packet.
It is the coach’s responsibility to collect all waivers and submit them. Entrants without waivers will have the number pulled from the team packet.
Bring the completed waiver, There will NOT be extra blank waivers on site
